Hey, everyone! Due to the amount of big fun during the midwestern Bring Your Own Band tour, I decided to do another one of these as my compadres remain gainfully employed. Here is some repetition from a few months ago when I spoke about this!
Hey, there! So I’m about to go out on this Bring Your Own Band tour. I thought this would be a fun way to wrap up the year, exactly how it got started - with me (having no ideas what I’m doing regardless of what country I am in), an iPod and a guitar. Also, this will be the first iPod tour in the states in over two years, since the release of Get Warmer. For those who have no clue that this is even something that happens within Bomb the Music Industry! here is a crash course:
1) IF YOU HAVE AN INSTRUMENT AND WANT TO PLAY A SONG OR THREE BRING IT ON DOWN! This offer is open for all of our shows, but sometimes shit needs to be mentioned again for people who have missed it. Also, you’re really contributing if you bring some shit into these shows.
2) ALL BOMB THE MUSIC INDUSTRY! REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED!!! Try to find me before the show and go “Hey, I wanna hear this B-Side that no one cares about or even knows you released” and it will be played. I am prepared! Let’s do this!
3) WEIRD COVER SONGS! I tend to try to program cover songs as I am traveling around. Sometimes by indie-pop sensations, sometimes by two Irish girls, sometimes by Pat, Joe and Ian.
So come on by! These tours are fun, weird, personal and most shows are LOOOOOONG. Yeahhhhhh! Hope to see you there. Oh yeah, and if you don’t see a venue for your city, get in touch and maybe we can hook that shit up, boyeeeeee.
